We’re hiring Class A CDL drivers for a dedicated local grocery distribution account based in Roanoke. This position offers daily home time
, steady overnight work, and consistent freight on a year-round operation.

, and don’t mind driver-assisted unloading
.

• Home daily
• Dedicated routes servicing Virginia and West Virginia
• Operates 7 days per week
  , primarily overnight
• Nights, weekends, and holiday schedules are required
• Holiday weeks (including the week prior) are mandatory
• Drivers typically handle around four loads per week
  , totaling approximately 2,000 miles
• Individual trips average just under 500 miles per run
• Slip-seat operation
• West Virginia outbound routes include scheduled return freight routed back through Indianapolis
• Driver-assisted unloading using a powered pallet jack (training provided)
• Personal transportation required to and from the distribution center
• Must live within the approved hiring area

• Weekly earnings average around $1,450
  , with annual potential exceeding $75,000
• Mileage pay is based on verified experience, ranging from $0.53 to $0.58 per mile
• Drivers earn additional pay beyond mileage, including:
• $55 for each full unload
• $20 per stop, including the first stop
• A $2,500 sign-on incentive is offered and paid in stages:
• Initial payout after the first dispatched load
• Additional payouts at 30, 60, 90, 120, and 150 days
• Final payout issued at 180 days
• Paid vacation increases with tenure:
• 1 week after 1 year
• 2 weeks after 3 years
• 3 weeks after 7 years
• 4 weeks after 15 years

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months recent tractor-trailer experience
• Clean MVR and stable work history
• Able to perform driver-assisted unloading
