As Case Aide, you will support multiple therapeutic foster care teams composed of a family consultant, child in care, the birth family, the therapeutic foster parents, the program director/supervisor, the custodial agency case worker, and others involved in the effort to promote the child's normal development and successful adjustment to family and community living. The Case Aide's primary tasks are to assist the Family Consultant on maintenance of the client record and support the efforts of team members on common goals and strategies.
Education and Experience
Required:
The selected candidate must have at least a High School diploma or GED equivalent;
Experience in the field of foster care or experience in working with behavioral programs, counseling, and/or skills training is highly preferred, OR; A degree in social work from a college or university accredited by the Council on Social Work Education or a field related to social work such as sociology, psychology, special education, or counseling, with a student placement in casework services to children and families or experience in providing casework services to children and families is preferred.
There is a necessity of travel (client/family transportation) expected with this position that requires the ability to operate a motor vehicle. As well as, a current driver's license, safe automobile, and current and sufficient auto insurance are all required.
