Pay
$18.00 per hour
Must Have- Experienced Assistant Technician
- Go‑getter attitude
- Willing to learn cable/telecom/ethernet field
- Assist the site lead with many tasks
- Work in small spaces
- Lift 40+ lbs
- Reliable transportation
- Assist the site lead with different projects/tasks
- Provide excellent customer service
- Installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of various cabling infrastructure
- Pull, route, terminate coaxial, Ethernet and fiber optic cables
- Perform site surveys to determine the best installation route and method
- Terminate RJ45 via CAT5E/6 in accordance with industry standards
- Ensure all cables are neatly routed, dressed and bundled
- Install cabling support components such as j‑hooks, cable racks and innerduct
- Install IT equipment such as routers, switches, cameras and wireless
- Conduct tests to ensure all newly installed cable systems and component devices are operational
- Troubleshoot device and or cabling issues
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all installations
