Ameri Staff Employment and Staffing Solutions is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for a full-time role based in Roanoke, VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business, nurturing existing accounts, and driving territory growth by following an established sales system.

Responsibilities of the Outside Sales Representative:
  • Increase new account sales by identifying and pursuing opportunities within a designated local market.
  • Maintain and grow existing customer relationships through regular outreach and solution-based selling.
  • Conduct cold calls, client visits, and customized presentations to acquire new business.
  • Utilize the clients Proven Selling System to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
  • Negotiate sales contracts including pricing, terms, and scope of services.
  • Track all sales activities, pipeline progress, and customer feedback in detailed reports.
  • Resolve post-sale issues to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
  • Attend meetings, training, and events as needed to stay aligned with company goals.
Requirements for the Outside Sales Representative:
  • Associate’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1–3 years of business-to-business sales or related experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and negotiation skills.
  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Frequent travel throughout the assigned sales territory.
  • Occasional office-based work.
  • Exposure to various weather conditions and job site environments.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks as needed.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.
  • Prolonged periods of driving and computer use.
Education & Experience:
  • Associate’s degree required;
    Bachelor's preferred.
  • 1–3 years of proven outside sales or business development experience.
