Position Overview

We’re looking for a Residential Sales Associate (RSA) to meet with homeowners, provide tailored painting project proposals, and guide customers through our sales process. This is a client-facing, consultative sales role ideal for someone who thrives on relationship-building, enjoys being active in the community, and is driven by results.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct in-home and virtual customer consultations using Certa Pro’s proven sales process

Listen to customer needs and create detailed, customized proposals

Consistently follow up with prospective clients via phone, email, or text until the job is won or declined

Participate in local marketing efforts including door hangers, yard signs, home shows, and community events

Maintain and update activities and customer details in our CRM system

Prepare weekly reports and participate in goal-setting sessions and ongoing sales training

Ensure smooth project handoffs by communicating scheduling needs to the production team

Contact completed jobs to ensure customer satisfaction and request referrals

Qualifications

2+ years of sales or customer-facing experience (in-home sales or construction industry preferred)

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

Highly organized, goal-oriented, and self-motivated

Strong time management and problem-solving skills

Proficient in technology (CRM systems, Microsoft Office, tablets)

Willingness to work occasional evenings or Saturdays during peak seasons
