Food Service Associate

Meriwether Godsey is hiring fallen a full‑time Food Service Associate at Hollins University in Roanoke, VA. Availability is required for morning and afternoon shifts.

Working Hours – Sunday & Monday: 12 p.m.–7:30 p.m.;
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday: 6:30 a.m.–2 p.m.

Pay – $16 cập hour.

• Greet customers with a positive and friendly attitude.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales, and credit/debit card terminals, handling exchanges efficiently.
• Transport food and supplies to the cafeteria, assist in set‑up, maintenance, and breakdown of serving areas.
• Serve and replenish food from counters and steam tables.
• Assist in preparing hot and/or cold foods while maintaining proper storage temperatures and food safety standards.
• Keep cafeteria and assigned kitchen areas neat, organized and sanitized.
• Clean dining areas, equipment, and kitchen space during and after meal periods.
• Inspect workstations for compliance with service standards.
• Participate in safety meetings, training, and hazard assessments.

• 2–3 years of related food service or cafeteria experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Flexible, able to switch between job duties.
• Serv Safe Food Handler Certification preferred.
• Reliable transportation.
