Active Virginia State or Compact RN/LPN license required.
Certifications:
BLS required, ACLS preferred.
Must-Have:
Proficient in circulating and scrubbing for total joints, craniotomies/neuro procedures, and ortho trauma.
Description:
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse with strong skills in orthopedics, neurology, and general scrubbing.
Candidates must be proficient in all three areas of expertise.
The position requires experience in circulating and scrubbing for total joint replacements, neurosurgeries, and ortho trauma surgeries.
Patients served range from neonates to geriatrics in a Level I trauma operating room.
The facility operates 24/7 with nursing coverage and consists of 25 OR suites.
Services offered include general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, plastic surgeries, gynecology, oncology, robotic surgeries, ENT, ophthalmology, pediatrics, and sports medicine.
Special equipment utilized includes robotics for surgical procedures and advanced imaging equipment.
Call rotation and occasional weekend shifts will be required.
The candidate must work at least one holiday during the contract period.
We welcome travelers and are willing to consider those with pending licenses from non-compact states.
