Charge Nurse RN​/LPN

Founded in 1966, Friendship offers diverse senior living accommodations, award-winning care, new and innovative services, as well as specialized rehab and therapy, to over 1,500 residents and patients each day. With four campuses, the earliest dating back to 1919, Friendship has grown to offer the full continuum of care, including independent living, assisted living, home care, outpatient therapy, inpatient rehab, long‑term care and Alzheimer’s and memory care.

Our staff nurses support the physical and mental health of residents through high‑quality clinical care, accurate documentation, and strong interdisciplinary collaboration.

• FT Sign‑On Bonus:
  Skilled Nursing Facility $10,000 paid over 40 pay periods;
  Assisted Living $7,500 paid over 30 pay periods

• FT/ PT 8 or 12‑Hour
  
  Shifts:
  
  1st Shift 6:45 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.; 2nd Shift 2:45 p.m. – 11:15 p.m.; 3rd Shift 10:45 p.m. – 7:45 a.m.;
  Day Shift 6:45 a.m. – 7:15 p.m.;
  Night Shift 6:45 p.m. – 7:15 a.m.

Work flexible hours at all facilities.

• Complete timely and accurate electronic health documentation (EHR)
• Manage admission, transfer, and discharge documentation
• Update and maintain care plans and routine charting per facility policies
• Report changes in condition to the Nurse Supervisor
• Collaborate with physicians regarding resident care, treatment, and rehabilitation
• Review and follow treatment plans, medication orders, diets, and care directives
• Ensure adequate medical supplies and equipment are available on each shift
• Support the safe operation of all nursing service equipment

• Unencumbered RN or LPN license in Virginia (or eligible to sit for boards)
• BLS required (ACLS preferred)
• Experience in long‑term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation preferred
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift/move 50+ lbs routinely
