Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Hybrid Critical Care for a top healthcare client in Roanoke, VA
.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for nurses with strong clinical skills to work across multiple critical care specialties. The Hybrid Critical Care Unit provides cross-trained coverage for ICU-level patients requiring advanced monitoring and intervention, offering exposure to diverse and high-acuity cases. The RN will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to excellence in patient outcomes, professional growth, and compassionate, evidence-based care.

Job Responsibilities
  • Deliver individualized, patient-centered care to critically ill patients across multiple critical care service lines.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and adjust interventions based on patient condition.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate and optimize care delivery.
  • Administer medications, infusions, and treatments with precision and accuracy, maintaining detailed documentation in EPIC EMR
    .
  • Monitor and interpret complex clinical data, recognizing and responding promptly to signs of instability.
  • Provide patient and family education to support understanding of diagnoses, procedures, and recovery plans.
  • Uphold hospital and department standards for patient safety, infection control, and continuous quality improvement.
Education
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or approved program eligible for Virginia licensure.
Experience
  • Previous experience in critical care, step-down, or telemetry preferred.
Certifications/Licenses
  • Virginia RN license (or eligibility).
  • CPR certification required;
    ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required as applicable within one year of hire.
Skills or Competencies
  • Strong clinical judgment and rapid response skills.
  • Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records
    .
  • Exceptional communication, adaptability, and teamwork abilities in high-acuity settings.
