RN/LPN Unit Manager – Eastern Healthcare Group

• Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day‑to‑day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
• Prepare and administer medications orally, subcutaneously, or intravenously; record prescriptions and report adverse reactions per policy.
• Educate patients on surgical procedures and record medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, interpret electronic displays, and record findings.
• Initiate corrective action for patients displaying adverse symptomatology.
• Provide bedside care for a wide variety of medical conditions, including pre‑ and post‑surgery patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs.
• Participate in discharge planning.
• Record all care information concisely, accurately, and completely in a timely manner on appropriate forms.
• Supervise support staff and licensed nurses.

• Current RN license in the state (or current LPN license in Virginia if applicable).
• First aid and CPR certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• Exceptional staff training and customer service skills.
