A Brief Overview
The Production Coordinator is responsible for monitoring the day-to-day activities on the production floor. Partnering with Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse and Compounding to ensure all issues are resolved in a timely manner and maximum operation efficiency is achieved. Ensuring seamless production processes and facilitating effective communication across teams.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm (some weekend work on occasion)
Pay: 20/hr.
What you will do
- Monitor shift activities - provide direct instruction to Line Leads and production personnel, ensure lines are running at rate with correct headcount.
- Facilitate communication between different departments for synchronized operations.
- Monitor quality control measures to uphold manufacturing standards.
- Verifies line startups. Including line balances, bulk and component issuing, and quality clearance.
- Serve as backup to the Production Supervisor.
- Manage production schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Coordinate resource allocation to maintain optimal production efficiency.
- Assist in troubleshooting production issues to minimize downtime
- Analyze production data to identify areas of improvement.
- Verifications and sign off on batch record processes.
- Execution of any reworks due to NCMR's issued by quality.
- Reviews production boards hourly and addresses issues on the packaging lines.
- Facilitates material flow through production. Component acquisitions and line returns.
- Some duties may vary slightly by location.
- High School Diploma (Preferred) or
- Associate's Degree or equivalent. BS / BA would be a plus but not required (Preferred)
- 1-3 years in a manufacturing environment. (Preferred)
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees (High proficiency)
- Ability to perform basic math calculations (High proficiency)
- Working in teams and with limited supervision (High proficiency)
- Communications (High proficiency)
- Collaboration Skills (High proficiency)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Medium proficiency)
- Experience with cGMP procedures and knowledge of safety, OSHA regulations (Medium proficiency)
