About The Role
Keep our production assets dependable, safe, and efficient by combining electro-mechanical know‑how with strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
Schedule & compensation- Full-time, 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule
- Average 14 days off per month with extended weekends every other week
- Compensation up to $35 per hour, based on experience
- Overtime as needed to meet customer demand
- Perform inspections, tests, and preventive maintenance on plant machinery and equipment
- Document and discuss issues with supervisors/managers; plan corrective actions
- Disassemble malfunctioning equipment; install repaired or new parts
- Adhere to all safety policies; wear and operate with a respirator as required; maintain cleanliness of all safety equipment
- Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and related components
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment and controls
- Design, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and associated hydraulic/pneumatic systems
- Respond to basic alarms and perform necessary resets
- Work closely with teammates to coordinate work, share production updates, and complete tasks
- Physically relocate carts, pallets, and toolboxes as work requires
- Maintain a clean and safe work area; follow all company policies and procedures
- Support the Quality Management and Environmental Management Systems
- Champion continual improvement initiatives and support JSOX compliance
- Exhibit regular, reliable attendance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Other duties as assigned
- 1 year certificate from a college or technical school; or 3
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- PLC troubleshooting and PLC programming experience
- Electrical troubleshooting skills
- Mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Equipment troubleshooting across industrial automation
- Hydraulics experience
- Troubleshooting industrial automation equipment
- VFDs
- PLCs:
Fanuc, Omron, Panasonic, Schneider Electric, Beckoff, Modicon, B&R Industrial Automation, Sigmatek - Servo motors
