Operations Manager (USA) – Walmart

- Initiate, direct, and participate in community outreach programs, encouraging associates and managers to serve as good community members, establish and maintain relationships with key individuals or groups, represent the company to external organizations, and champion company‑sponsored programs, events, and sustainability efforts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures by holding hourly associates accountable; analyze and interpret reports; implement and monitor asset protection and safety controls; maintain quality assurance standards; oversee safety and operational reviews; develop and implement action plans to correct deficiencies and provide guidance on executing company programs and strategic initiatives.
- Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates in the assigned area: hire, train, mentor, actively listen, assign duties, evaluate performance, provide recognition, set clear expectations, communicate consistently and effectively, promote a belonging mindset, provide feedback, and ensure business goals are achieved.
- Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards by following the One Best Way (OBW) service model; manage and support customer service initiatives; resolve customer needs, complaints, and issues; develop and implement action plans to correct deficiencies; provide process‑improvement leadership for a high‑quality customer experience.
- Assist the store manager in driving the financial performance of the facility: ensure sales and profit goals are achieved; review and evaluate P&L statements; assist the management team in controlling expenses tied to sales; develop and implement plans to correct financial performance deficiencies; analyze economic trends and community needs for budget forecasting.
- Coordinate, complete, and oversee job‑related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; support plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identify and communicate goals and objectives; build accountability and measure progress; identify and address improvement opportunities; demonstrate adaptability and promote continuous learning.
- Ensure compliance with company policies; support mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity; implement related action plans; use and support the Open Door Policy; provide guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.
- Respect the individual by building high‑performing teams, embracing differences, creating a supportive workplace, collaborating, communicating with impact and positivity, attracting and retaining talent, empowering and developing associates, and recognizing contributions.

Base salary: $65,000 – $80,000 per year. Additional incentive compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses and location‑based adjustments such as Regional Pay Zone and Complex Structure based on external factors.
