Floor Technician

Overview

We are hiring immediately for full time FLOOR TECHNICIAN positions.

Location:

Roanoke Memorial Hospital - 1906 Belleview Ave Southeast, Roanoke, VA 24014.

Schedule:

Full time schedule; days and hours may vary. Rotating weekends required. More details upon interview.

Fixed Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour.

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment
• Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas
• Performs carpet and upholstery care including shampooing, damp cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Other duties as assigned by manager

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs
