The Promissory Hotel is searching for dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our growing team!

As a valued team member, you will play a vital role in ensuring the public areas and overall appearance of our hotel is immaculate while providing friendly and efficient service to our guests at our soon-to-be-open destination boutique hotel with a vibrant restaurant/bar, Suerte, and live music hall, The Exchange.

• Smile, have fun, and be energetic!
• Clean and maintain the appearance of the public areas, including hotel lobby, hallways, restrooms, and meeting rooms.
• Vacuuming, dusting, and window cleaning all areas.
• Ensure that the public areas are well stocked and presentable at all times.
• Assist with guest requests, such as delivering extra towels or amenities to guest rooms.
• Support the housekeeping & laundry team with guest room cleaning and preparation when needed.
• Help with the movement and storage of property furniture and equipment.
• Ensure guest and team member safety and report any issues, including maintenance issues, to your manager.
• Properly store any lost items to the manager.
• Assist with inventory tracking of housekeeping and laundry supplies.
• Assist in other housekeeping duties as needed.

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• A friendly and hospitable demeanor.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Knowledge of the Roanoke region and the town's local attractions.
