Sentara Health Plansis hiring a School Liaison in Region 6, Western Virginia (Alleghany Highlands, Botetourt County, Craig County, Danville, Floyd County, Franklin County, Henry County, Martinsville, Montgomery County, Patrick County, Pittsylvania County, Roanoke, Roanoke County, Salem, VA)

Status:
Full-time,permanent position (40 hours)

Standard working hours: 8am to 5pm EST, M-F

This position is remote in R
egion 6, Western Virginia (Alleghany Highlands, Botetourt County, Craig County, Danville, Floyd County, Franklin County, Henry County, Martinsville, Montgomery County, Patrick County, Pittsylvania County, Roanoke, Roanoke County, Salem). Will need to travel to schools or community/wellness events in the R
egion 6, Western Virginia approx. 3x a month.

Job responsibilities:

The School Liaison Program was designed to create a link between Virginia school systems and Sentara in an effort to better the communities where Sentara operates. From vaccine clinics, providing volunteers at community events and educating about various online behavioral health tools, the school liaisons are in-touch with communities’ needs to help Sentara serve them better.

Education:

• MLD - Master's Level Degree
  - Education, MLD - Master's Level Degree
  - Social Work, MLD - Master's Level Degree
  -Psychology REQUIRED

Certification/Licensure

• None required

Experience:

• Experience working for a school or with schools is preferred
• Behavioral experience is preferred
