Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour shifts Friday through Sunday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM

• Start time may vary from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM based on unit needs

• No on-call requirements

• Must have 2 years of CT technologist experience

• Travel experience required - first-time travelers not accepted

• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT(R), ARRT(CT) preferred

• Siemens equipment and Epic charting system experience required

• Virginia state license required - emergency authorization available for active out-of-state licenses

• Must be available to work one holiday per 13-week contract in rotation with staff

• May be required to float to Carilion Clinic Riverside location (approximately 0.5 miles away)

• Perform preparation and administration of contrast media

• Maintain radiation safety protocols

• Work with patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

• Perform various CT procedures including trauma, vascular studies, cardiac imaging, and specialized procedures

• Facility can call off 1 shift per 2 weeks if needed

This acute care teaching hospital features over 700 licensed beds and serves as a Level I Trauma Center with Magnet designation. The facility is recognized as a certified stroke center and provides comprehensive medical services including advanced imaging capabilities. The hospital offers interdisciplinary support services including phlebotomy, radiology, and lift teams to ensure optimal patient care and workflow efficiency.
