Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join our team, requiring Siemens and Epic experience and BLS/ARRT(R) certification.
Responsibilities- Work in an acute care hospital CT unit
- Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts, Friday through Sunday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with actual start times varying between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM based on unit needs
- No on-call requirements
- Potential floating to a nearby affiliated clinic located approximately half a mile away
- Uses Siemens CT equipment and Epic EMR system
- Must be available to work one holiday per 13-week contract in rotation with staff
- Responsibilities include performing CT scans, administering contrast, and ensuring radiation safety
- Staff may be asked to float to a nearby clinic as needed
- Facility may call off one shift every two weeks
- All time off requests must be submitted at the time of application
- Must be willing to participate in scheduled holiday coverage rotation
- Current BLS and ARRT(R) certification required
- ARRT(CT) certification preferred
- Experience with Siemens CT scanners and Epic charting required
- Demonstrated proficiency in preparation and administration of contrast media
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety practices
- Virginia state license required; any active state license accepted with emergency authorization available while awaiting permanent VA license
- Two references required for consideration
- First-time travelers will not be considered
