Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Utility Engineering Technician to work in the Roanoke, VA area.

Responsible for performing intermediate-level technical work and related activities associated with the engineering, design, analysis, research, development, testing, construction, maintenance, and operation of company equipment and facilities.

• Coordinate FAC-008 activities and provide updates to leadership
• Navigate and monitor the IPS asset database
• Read and interpret one-line diagrams and electrical/physical prints
• Manage files and upload photographs into the Verifact system to support verification efforts
• Maintain strict data accuracy standards

• Perform cost-effective, efficient work
• Demonstrate understanding of equipment, materials, systems, and processes
• Possess intermediate computer literacy skills

• Follow policies and procedures
• Provide guidance and training when beneficial

• Manage time constraints and adjust priorities accordingly

• Seek opportunities to increase technical knowledge and job skills

• Contribute to team goals and foster cooperative relationships
• Understand and support corporate objectives

• Make efficient, cost-effective decisions
• Focus on both internal and external customer satisfaction

• Associate Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering Technology (or related field)
• 2 years of related utility industry experience
