Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon, Carilion Clinic – Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine – Roanoke, VA
Carilion Clinic (CC), Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine (VTCSOM), and the Department of Surgery, Section of Dental Care in Roanoke, Virginia are searching for an Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon to join a clinic-based, academic program. The team includes 11 dentists, 5 General Practice residents, 24 dental assistants, 5 dental hygienists, and 18 non-clinical support staff. The program offers teaching, research, and clinical dentistry, with a pediatric dental program and a Cleft and Craniofacial Center approved by ACPA.
Qualifications- Completed a CODA or CDAC accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery by the ABOMS.
- Academic appointment at VTCSOM required.
The position offers teaching opportunities through VTCSOM, research through the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute and other affiliations, and comprehensive coverage at Level-1 763-bed trauma and academic health center, Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital/Carilion Children’s Hospital.
