Position Summary
Real Life Dental Roanoke is looking for a Practice Manager who’s got the brains of an administrator, the heartbeat of a clinician, and the leadership instincts to pull it all together. What You’ll Do (and do well): ⭐Lead the Team Like a Pro
Run daily huddles that energize the team and keep everyone dialed in.
Build trust with doctors and staff — high collaboration, low drama.
Coach team members in their roles, communication, and performance so everyone levels up.
⭐Keep Operations Running Smoother Than Fresh Composite
Maintain top-tier OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, and infection control standards.
Master both the clinical side and the admin side — flow, systems, and patient expectations.
Guard the schedule like the crown jewel it is.
⭐Strengthen Case Presentation & Case Acceptance
Support the team in delivering confident, clear, patient-friendly treatment presentations.
Ensure treatment plans are accurate, timely, and fully explained before the patient leaves.
Coach front desk + clinical teams on verbiage, confidence, and follow-through to increase acceptance.
Keep follow-ups tight and intentional — no treatment left behind.
Keep a close eye on production, collections, AR, and new patient growth.
Spot trends early and create action plans that actually work.
Partner with providers to ensure strong same-day care and optimized scheduling.

What We’re Looking ForThis role requires a leader who’s already lived the dental world — clinically and administratively — and knows how to strengthen treatment acceptance, systems, and team culture.
2+ years of dental management experience (multi-provider and/or high-volume preferred).
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, treatment planning, insurance, and patient financial discussions.
Experience coaching teams on case presentation + case acceptance strategies
.
Current OSHA, HIPAA, BLS, and infection control certifications.
Proficiency with dental software (Open Dental preferred).
Leadership instincts that inspire confidence.

Position Summary:
As a Practice Manager, you will ensure the efficient running of a fast-paced dental office and lead a successful team that consistently meets and exceeds patient, practice and the organization’s expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular staff huddles; foster open communication, provide organization and practice updates and continually challenge and develop staff
- Stay current with the latest OSHA, HIPAA and ADA regulations
- Build and nurture a positive working relationship with the doctors and staff
- Help build new patient growth by supporting marketing programs
- Ensure that the practice is meeting financial goals and formulate plans to mitigate areas of concern
Qualifications:
- H.S. diploma with a college degree or equivalent preferred
- A minimum of two years dental experience in a management role
- Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, BLS and infection control training as required by law
- Proficiency with computer and dental software
