Position OverviewVirginia Transformer Corp is seeking a highly organized, analytical, and proactive Assistant to Executives – Executive Support & Business Analytics to support our Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
This role goes beyond traditional administrative support. In addition to managing executive operations, this position will provide business data analysis, reporting support, and performance insights to enable informed decision‑making at the senior leadership level.
The ideal candidate combines strong executive presence with analytical capability, is highly detail‑oriented, and thrives in a fast‑paced, growth‑driven manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities Executive Support & Operational Management- Manage and optimize the SVP’s daily calendar, travel, and meeting coordination.
- Act as a gatekeeper and primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Anticipate executive needs and proactively resolve scheduling and operational conflicts.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all executive communications and materials.
- Compile, analyze, and interpret sales, operational, and performance data to support executive decision‑making.
- Develop and maintain executive dashboards and performance reports.
- Prepare analytical summaries for leadership meetings, operational reviews, and board presentations.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, modeling, advanced formulas) to build reports and financial summaries.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis and provide concise recommendations.
- Partner with Finance, Sales Operations, and Marketing teams to ensure data accuracy and reporting consistency.
- Prepare, review, and edit executive correspondence, reports, and presentations with high accuracy.
- Draft communications on behalf of the SVP when appropriate.
- Organize and maintain executive records, reporting files, and confidential documentation.
- Coordinate logistics for leadership meetings and business planning sessions.
- Prepare meeting materials including data‑driven insights and performance summaries.
- Record key decisions and track follow‑up action items tied to measurable outcomes.
- Support special projects involving performance analysis, forecasting, and growth initiatives.
- 5+ years of experience in executive support, business operations, or analytical roles.
- Strong business data analysis skills with proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, modeling required).
- Experience compiling and presenting performance metrics to senior leadership.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Finance, Analytics, or related field a plus).
- Experience supporting Sales, Marketing, or Operations leadership.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
- Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting platforms.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
