- Contract Duration: 12 months

- Order Management and Materials Coordinator coordinates order management processes with operations managers, supervisors, and line servers to reduce aging open orders, past-due items, and customer escalations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between Syracuse planning and customer service for Syracuse products.
- Handle escalations (coordinating reduced interruptions).
- Process cancellations and provide status updates.
- Identify efficiencies for assembling similar products in batches.
- Support prioritization of assembly benches.
- Communicate material-related issues to the Syracuse planning team, including:
- Missing materials
- Quality issues
- Inventory inaccuracies in Roanoke
- Potentially conduct cycle counts and inventory adjustments.
- Identify BOM issues (e.g., items not back flushing) and engage planners or sustaining engineering for corrective actions.
- Participate in Gemba walks and review metrics related to the Syracuse product line (e.g., open dollar value on floor).
