The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for performing a variety of job duties such as reviewing and routing CADRs, EERPs, disposals, and asset transfers. The role also assists with data entry of assets with specific division information, procurement, and disposal of equipment. This position supports the Fleet team and works with personnel within various departments.
Responsibilities- Use tracking and reporting functions to support the division with all fleet, equipment, and driver related functions.
- Review all internal requests for additions, repairs, disposals, and transfers for accuracy; monitor and track all transactions to ensure efficiency.
- Manage the transport of equipment to and from projects through company transport as well as third‑party transport companies.
- Oversee off‑road equipment repairs to maintain safe equipment for company use and ensure compliance with company policy and any regulations for the region working in.
- Report transactions or functions that may be perceived as wasteful or excessive.
- Track all toll violations within Division.
- Log and track safety recalls on all applicable vehicles.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date record of all divisional assets and all related details pertaining to assets (VIN, year, make, model, and upfit).
- Perform other duties as required and or assigned by Senior Fleet Coordinator.
- Perform licensing and registration of vehicles and equipment.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years of related experience.
- Ability to travel for work.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and liabilities.
- Knowledge of legal weights and permits.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Ability to operate office equipment.
- Mechanical experience for equipment and trucks including an understanding of equipment repair and requirements.
This job operates in a field environment. The role routinely requires extended periods of bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, lifting in awkward positions, standing, and twisting. The employee will also work in inclement weather conditions such as extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, ice, snow, and wind. Must be able to bend, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds.
