Compass Students
Reports to: Central Student Pastor
Status: Part time 25 hours (Temporary Role – Until Full Time Student Pastor is Hired)
Supervisory Role: No

Assist with the duties and responsibilities of Compass Students in a way that helps navigate more students, leaders, and parents to God

• Every staff member is expected to fully engage in the ministry of the church. This includes attending a weekend service and tithing
• Assist in equipping volunteers with what they need to successfully fulfill their roles
• Assist with leader recruitment and development
• Assist in Compass Students discipleship and outreach initiatives
• Manage rock database for Roanoke Students - including small group roster maintenance, parent emails, etc.
• Work alongside the student team to plan an annual Student Conference
• Attend all required meetings at Compass Christian Church (Staff and Team)
• Uphold Compass Christian Church's mission, core values, and 12 Staff Commandments
• Work with the Communications Team to order prints, manage website edits and additions, and any other Roanoke Student communication needs

• Monday:
  Hours flexible (0-7 hours)
• Tuesday: 10AM – 4PM (6 hours)
• Wednesday: 1PM – 9PM (8 hours)
• Thursday:
  Hours flexible (0-7 hours)
• Friday: OFF
• Saturday: OFF
• Sunday: 9AM – 1PM (4 hours)

• Be of moral and spiritual integrity in all areas of your walk and life

Each member of the Compass Church team takes a “how can I help?” approach to ministry. While each team member has individual areas of responsibility, collaboration and support permeate our culture. There is no task below any team member at Compass - if we see something that needs to be done, we do it!
