** About the Role**  **:*
* The Sanitation Lead is responsible for planning, controlling and directing the Sanitation Technicians on daily/weekly cleaning activities following Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP), FDA FSMA and Food Safety Plan requirements.  You will add value by performing the following duties but not limited to:

+ Prepare and assign daily cleaning assignments to Sanitation Technicians

+ Lead andteachteam on proper cleaning and sanitizing techniques

+ Verify correct cleaning chemicals and tools are being used in accordancetoSSOP

+ Inspect line prior to releasing to Quality/Operations

+ Support EMP technician inidentifyingroot cause of sanitation deficiencies

+ Record sanitation activities performed; daily/weekly/monthly cleaning requirements, chemical dilution, etc.

+ Ensure teams compliancetoplants SSOP, GMP, 5S and Food Safety Plan requirements

+ Must be detailed oriented and able to work/lead independent of instruction

** This is a full-time permanent role on 1st shift, which operates from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday with some Saturdays.

+ Knowledge of FDA/USDA requirementshelpful.

+ 2 or more years of sanitation experience in a food manufacturing environment
