• Maintain entire warehouse building, both inside and outside, in a safe, productive, and efficient manner.
• Repair, fabricate, and weld racks, dock plates, dock doors, and overall building structure.
• Repair dock lights, general lighting, and other electrical appliances.
• Respond to fire alarms.
• Repair plumbing and sprinkler systems, handle testing, contractor safety, PPM readings, calibration of instruments, PC controls on computer that monitors refrigeration systems, PMC 2000 software, and overall computer skills (MS applications).
• Work closely with others in the department and share responsibility in solving problems, coordinating work activities, and repairing equipment.
• Effectively interact and work with manager to ensure the most efficient and cost‑effective operation.
• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of shop and shop equipment through regular inspections.
• Troubleshoot problems.
• Ability to work various days and times based on the needs of the business.
• Clean up work area and tools between job assignments.
• Must have experience in residential remodeling, plumbing, electrical, welding, garage door repair, and low voltage security systems/cameras.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks on industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment.
• Repair damage to industrial equipment when it occurs.
• Assist in developing and editing tasks required to update preventive maintenance procedures.
• Document the use of man‑hours and any supplies or parts used.
• May be called upon to help with other maintenance activities including building maintenance and refrigeration maintenance.
• Work a flexible schedule.
• Other jobs as assigned.
