Hybrid Work Schedule

This position operates on a hybrid model designed to support collaboration and flexibility:

  • In-office:
    Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
  • Work from home:
    Wednesday & Friday

Position Summary

The Finance Manager - Operational Finance leads core financial operations across Revenue Management, OpEx Management, and Sales Operations Finance. The position is highly strategic and operational, partnering closely with Sales, Operations, HR, IT, and leadership to drive performance, challenge assumptions, and deliver accurate forecasting and insights.

The ideal candidate is analytical, process-driven, and comfortable leading in a fast‑paced, data-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Finance Leadership
  • Serve as a critical finance partner to Sales and Operations
  • Influence P&L outcomes with data-driven recommendations
  • Drive value creation and operational efficiency
Revenue Management
  • Analyze revenue across product lines, channels, and customer segments
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for profitable growth
  • Build and maintain monthly/quarterly/annual revenue forecasts
  • Conduct variance analyses vs. budget, forecast, and prior periods
  • Deliver timely and accurate reporting and KPIs
  • Develop dashboards to enhance visibility and decision-making
OpEx Management
  • Monitor and report operating expenses across functions
  • Manage OpEx forecasting and support annual budgeting
  • Identify cost efficiencies and financial risks
  • Partner with HR, IT, Operations, and Marketing on spend planning
  • Provide scenario modeling and ad hoc analysis
  • Support rollout of dashboards and tools for expense visibility
Sales Operations Finance
  • Partner with Sales & GTM leadership as their primary financial advisor
  • Assist with sales compensation planning and financial modeling
  • Build models for quota setting, territory alignment, and capacity planning
  • Evaluate sales productivity and incentive impacts
  • Provide scenario modeling for GTM investments and strategy shifts
  • Improve sales reporting and forecast accuracy
Team Leadership
  • Lead, coach, and develop two finance analysts
  • Promote a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Implement automation and AI-supported best practices
Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Serve as the key finance liaison across Sales and Operations
  • Present insights to senior leadership
  • Support monthly business reviews, forecast cycles, and the annual plan
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor’s in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 5-8 years in Sales Finance, Operations Finance, or FP&A
  • Experience with sales compensation or sales performance analytics
  • Strong financial modeling skills; advanced Excel
  • Proven experience leading or mentoring team members
  • High attention to detail and strong communication skills
Preferred
  • Experience in a private equity environment
  • Experience with Xactly, Varicent, Anaplan, CaptivateIQ
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (GP, SAP, Net Suite, Oracle)
  • BI tools:
    Power BI or Tableau
  • Background in CPG, wholesale, or consumer products
