Type: Contract through end of 2026
Compensation Range: $40-$45/hr W2
OverviewOur client is looking for a Marketing Research Strategist for analysis and interpretation of market data and competitor strategies. You will be responsible for developing and documenting business insights with a deep focus on customer service experience. If you are an analytical leader who can bridge the gap between raw data and strategic narrative while keeping the customer's perspective at the heart of your work, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities- Leads the collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data, competitor strategies, and industry trends to provide actionable insights that guide executive decisions, shape business strategy, identify growth opportunities, and maintain a competitive edge for the organization.
- Responsible for developing, articulating and documenting business insights, with robust customer focus, including ability to think in terms of the customer service experience/perspective.
- Carries out complex assignments requiring in-depth working knowledge of business principles, program and procedures and a solid understanding of relevant business issues.
- Experience in financial services, wealth management, nonprofit or philanthropy.
- Must have experience with External Intelligence:
Public marketing materials, IRS data (Form 990s), and website teardowns. - Experience with Primary Research:
Interviewing clients, donors, or advisors to extract "value proposition" insights. - Ability to create a repeatable process for competitive tracking.
- Market Intelligence, Value Proposition Analysis, Executive Storytelling, Strategic Synthesis, Qualitative Research, Stakeholder Management.
- Experience in research, data analysis, product marketing, and product development.
- Experience with MS Office applications, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proficient at using tools like PowerPoint to distill complex assignments into persuasive, actionable insights for leadership.
- Must be able to translate market trends into what they mean for the end user, ensuring that business strategies remain aligned with customer expectations and needs.
