Locum Tenens – NP/PA (Urgent Care)
Fast Med Urgent Care – North Carolina
$95-$105/hr
Fast Med Urgent Care is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide high‑quality care in a fast‑paced outpatient setting. Providers will manage a full spectrum of urgent care needs and work collaboratively with onsite clinical teams.
Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive assessments, including history and physical exams
- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and infections
- Order and interpret X‑rays, EKGs, and laboratory studies
- Prescribe medications and develop evidence‑based treatment plans
- Perform minor procedures: suturing, splinting, incision & drainage
- Educate patients on care plans and follow‑up
- Document all encounters in EPIC
- Collaborate with onsite physicians and clinical staff
- Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
- Active North Carolina license
- Board‑certified FNP (or equivalent for PAs)
- BLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred
- Minimum 1 year of Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience
