In this vital role, you will treat both adult and pediatric patients aged 6 months and up, managing a variety of cases including minor procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, and ear irrigations. You will be the sole provider responsible for delivering comprehensive urgent care services, emphasizing compassionate patient interactions and clinical excellence. Your expertise with EMR systems, particularly Epic, will ensure streamlined patient documentation and care coordination.
This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $1.00, with weekly direct deposit, and comprehensive benefits including medical coverage, paid sick leave, licensure and certification reimbursements, and participation in our robust referral bonus program. Required Skills:
- Minimum of 12 months of clinical Urgent Care experience treating adults and pediatrics
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system
- Board Certification: BC in Family Medicine, NCCPA for PAs, or NP Certification
- Valid PA Cert, Family NP Cert, BLS, and NC DEA license
- Ability to independently evaluate and treat patients
- Excellent communication and soft skills
- Ability to work autonomously without supervision, with oversight provided for APPs
- Experience performing procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, and ear irrigations
- Prior experience in high-volume urgent care settings
- Strong clinical skills in pediatrics and adult medicine
- Certification through recognized boards (ABMS, NCCPA, or equivalent)
- At least 12 months of urgent care or emergency medicine experience
- Ability to participate in mandatory EMR and onboarding training scheduled on set Wednesdays
- Willingness to support multiple clinic locations within a 60-mile radius
- No travel reimbursement; mileage is compensated
- Must pass a clinical screening and credentialing process
- Background check and proper licensure required prior to scheduling
