Overview
Seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Physicians for part-time or PRN roles in Roanoke Rapids, NC.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive medical care across skilled nursing, assisted living, and long-term care settings.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Maintain timely documentation, support care coordination, and meet regulatory standards.
- Potentially serve as Medical Director, with opportunities for additional compensation.
- Travel between multiple facilities; minimal rotating weekend and holiday call (no night call).
Essential qualifications include an MD or DO, NC medical license, strong communication skills, and reliable transportation. Preferred experience in post-acute care and familiarity with relevant software are advantages.
