Specialist Technician – Engine Overhaul

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Engine Overhaul and Rebuild Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in diesel engine repair and rebuilding, with a strong focus on Mercedes, Iveco, and CAT engines. This role involves diagnosing complex engine issues, performing overhauls, rebuilding engines, and ensuring that all work meets industry standards for safety and quality.

• Perform comprehensive engine overhauls and rebuilds on heavy vehicles, particularly those equipped with Mercedes, Iveco, and CAT diesel engines.
• Conduct thorough diagnostics to identify mechanical problems and determine appropriate repair strategies.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting engine issues.
• Inspect engine components for wear and damage, replacing or repairing parts as necessary.
• Oversee the assembly and testing of rebuilt engines to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain detailed records of all repairs and service transactions.
• Adhere to safety and environmental regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with team members and other mechanics to ensure timely project completion.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior mechanics, promoting a culture of continuous learning

• Proven experience as a diesel engine mechanic, with a strong emphasis on engine overhaul and rebuild.
• Extensive knowledge of heavy vehicle diesel engines, specifically Mercedes, Iveco, and CAT models.
• Technical Certification
  : A recognized diploma or certification in Diesel Mechanics, Heavy Equipment Repair, or a related field.
• OEM Knowledge
  :
  In-depth knowledge of the original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) relevant to the fleet.
