Under the guidance of the Chief Engineer, the position will operate, maintain and repair all aspects of the Palace’s Electrical stations, systems and equipment, in accordance with Boutique Group standards to achieve optimum operating efficiency at all times.

Must have All Requirements of Electrician Technician

Associate’s degree in electrician or similar or equivalent in years’ experience required 6 years.

Authorized Locally to work as electrician technician

Must have 4-6 years’ direct experience in Hospitality Electrical and Control operation and maintenance.

Must have entry-level training on BMS building automation system and know how to utilize the control program for troubleshooting.

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.

Familiarity with Palace management software and systems.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is preferred.

Local market experience is an asset.

Fully aware about hotel Electrical stations designs (High, Medium, Low Volt stations), ATS, generator and its operation for testing, Repair, Emergency actions and start up.

Service, installation, repair, overhauling and replacing all types of Motors, electrical components/Panels and other commercial/industrial electrical equipment.

Completes electrical maintenance work as per Maintenance Repair Order, daily routine, utilities reading records & monitoring & controls.

Monitors performance and adjusts electrical equipment to obtain maximum efficiency.

Performs preventive maintenance as per established schedules.

Performs all types of tests including safety tests for all safety components and parts as per manufacturer guidelines, personal experience and safety programs.

Perform all type of programming repair and updates of entire system programs such Pumps VFDs programming, VFDs programming, etc.

Installs new wiring and equipment as directed.

Always carry a communication device whilst on duty.

Repairs electrical equipment and circuits as necessary.

Ensures all circuits and switches are clearly marked for Emergency and service use.

Advises the Chief Engineer, through his supervisor concerning major repairs/changes required.

Co-operate and assists other tradesmen when required.

Attends to repairs and maintenance of electrical equipment and electrical control system.

Attends to all types of repairs and maintenance work on the Palace premises, including any new additional/extensions.

Responds to guest maintenance request within 15 minutes of receipt.

Ensures plant rooms, workshops and related areas are kept clean and tidy.

Observes prescribed safety standards. Helps maintain safe conditions for self and others.

Ensure full responsibility for completing Repair and maintenance journey starts from Task assignment along with repair, parts ordering, receiving, quality control, installation then Testing and commissioning ends with completion of required records & updates and task handover.

Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
