Auto Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform routine periodic maintenance (lubricants, filters, batteries) and preventive maintenance.
• Perform break down maintenance and complex repairs on engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Include LPG, electric motor, drive axle, differential etc.
• Use diagnostic tools and manuals to find faults in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform weekly safety check-up by following check list to identify potential issues and safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
• Manage spare parts inventory and order needed parts on time.
• Ensure all equipment meets safety standards and regulations.

• Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License, potentially a forklift commercial license
• Experience as a mechanic, not just a driver.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Skills in welding, soldering, and operating heavy equipment.
• Industrial/warehouse settings.
• May involve scheduled shifts or emergency call-outs. Must be on duty as per business requirement.
• Can involve working with various equipment types (lifts, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, reach truck etc.).
