Low Voltage Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain low voltage systems such as lighting, fire alarm, CCTV, and data/telecom systems
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operation
• Diagnose system faults and perform corrective repairs promptly
• Read and interpret low voltage drawings, schematics, and technical documents
• Ensure compliance with electrical standards, safety regulations, and company procedures
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology
• Minimum of 5 years of experience or more as a Low Voltage Technician
• Proven experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems (lighting, fire alarm, CCTV, access control, data/telecom)
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documents
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards, codes, and site safety requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong command of English language, both written and spoken
• Excellent communication, reporting, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
