We are currently looking for a Sales Acceleration – Core Automation Portfolio (PCS7 / PCS Neo) Sales Specialist for Saudi Arabia stationed in Riyadh office, reporting to Core Automation Manager in Digital Industries Process Automation. The candidate will be responsible for the portfolio business growth in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through use case pre‑sales technical support, including marketing and promotional activities to the end‑customers / EPCs / Consultants and Solution Partners.

It is also expected from this job function to actively use customer challenger approach and ensure portfolio‑based value selling to the customers in collaboration with Siemens Digital Industries Sales Team and Account Managers in KSA, go an extra mile to ensure maximum market penetration and achieve agreed targets related to Sales Acceleration – Core Automation PCS Portfolio elements.

Your Role – Challenging and Future‑Oriented

The Sales Specialist plays a critical role in accelerating revenue growth and maximizing customer value by providing technical and sales expertise. Sales Specialists are closely aligned with Account Managers and Technical Sales teams, acting as a trusted advisor to guide portfolio selection, fit, and implementation. The role combines technical and commercial perspectives, ensuring the right portfolio value positioning and contributing to advancing deal closure.

Main

Responsibilities Portfolio Expertise & Sales Enablement
  • Act as a specialist, providing portfolio selection and fit, supporting both internal sales teams and external customers.
  • Enable sales teams on appropriate solution domains so that they capture the initial customer interest.
  • Align closely with Account Managers and Technical Sales to integrate portfolio offerings into sales opportunities.
  • Empower sales teams by providing key technical insights and sales narratives.
  • Define and communicate a customer value proposition from a business and technical perspective for the assigned portfolio.
Post‑Sales Support & Customer Success
  • Ensure a seamless handover to delivery teams, ensure smooth service execution and solution delivery (e.g., facilitate customer onboarding, adoption, and satisfaction to drive long‑term customer retention and growth).
Opportunity Management & Deal Support
  • Drive portfolio's technical sales strategies into and with Technical Sales.
  • Lead the portfolio's technical aspects of deal structuring and closure.
  • Engage directly with customers to understand technical and business requirements and ensure alignment with customer needs.
  • Drive sales engagements with a value‑driven approach.
  • Provide competitive positioning insights, articulating Siemens’ value‑add and technical advantages over competitors.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to identify new business opportunities and areas for portfolio growth/expansion, and align closely with Account Manager and Technical Sales.
  • Own the technology vision for the assigned market, identifying business potential for the assigned portfolio.
Portfolio Growth & Volume Accountability
  • Accountable for driving portfolio sales growth and meeting assigned overlay quota.
