As a Project Account Manager (PAM), you will be responsible for visiting large construction jobsites and acting as the lead solution consultant for all project-specific matters. This role involves providing end-to-end business support and building strong relationships with customers to offer innovative and cost-efficient solutions.
What You'll Do- Managing Construction Jobsites:
Oversee large construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring all project-specific needs are met. - Consultative Selling:
Demonstrate Hilti's pioneering products, software, and services, and explain their value propositions. - Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. - Product Demonstrations:
Conduct effective product demonstrations and workshops to raise awareness of new technologies and Hilti products. - Troubleshooting:
Address and resolve any challenges faced by contractors on-site. - Collaboration:
Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and coordination of services. - Growth Opportunities:
Identify opportunities for business growth and suggest action steps to improve performance.
Educational Background
- Bachelor's Degree:
Preferably in Engineering.
Experience
- Relevant
Work Experience:
At least 3-5 years of experience in sales, project management, or a related field, ideally within the construction or industrial sectors. - Familiarity with the construction industry, particularly in the Energy and Power sector, is highly advantageous.
Skills and Competencies
- Ability to understand and explain technical products and solutions.
- Strong consultative selling skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.
- Excellent skills in building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to conduct effective presentations and product demonstrations.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues on-site efficiently.
- Ability to work well with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
