Business Development Manager – Banking

Industry & Sector:
Financial Services — Banking and Banking Technology Solutions. This role sits at the intersection of commercial sales and banking domain expertise, focused on driving revenue from banks, financial institutions, and fintech partners in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. On-site role based in Saudi Arabia.

About The Opportunity

We are hiring a results-driven sales leader to grow enterprise banking accounts and commercialize banking products and services across the Saudi market. You will own the end-to-end sales lifecycle, build executive relationships, and collaborate with product and delivery teams to convert opportunities into long-term engagements. The ideal candidate combines deep banking domain knowledge with proven enterprise sales execution in KSA.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Drive full sales cycle for banking solutions in Saudi Arabia: prospect, qualify, propose, negotiate, and close enterprise deals with banks and fintechs.
  • Develop and execute targeted account and territory plans to meet revenue targets and expand share-of-wallet within corporate and retail banking segments.
  • Lead RFP/RFI responses, craft commercial proposals and pricing, and manage contract negotiations with legal and procurement stakeholders.
  • Build and sustain C-level and senior stakeholder relationships to position strategic, long-term partnerships and secure executive buy-in.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (product, delivery, implementation) to design client-fit solutions, scope PoCs, and ensure smooth handover to delivery.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting in CRM; provide market intelligence and weekly sales reports to leadership.
Skills & Qualifications Must-Have
  • Proven track record in enterprise sales to banks or large financial institutions in the GCC / Saudi market.
  • Strong domain knowledge of banking products and services (corporate banking, treasury, payments, digital banking).
  • Experience managing RFP/RFI processes and commercial negotiations for complex IT or services deals.
  • Demonstrable expertise with CRM tools (Salesforce) and sales forecasting.
  • Ability to engage C-level stakeholders and influence procurement and technical decision-makers.
  • Fluent English; ability to operate on-site across client locations in Saudi Arabia.
Preferred
  • Professional proficiency in Arabic.
  • Familiarity with SAMA regulatory framework and compliance expectations for banking projects.
  • Experience selling solutions integrated with core banking or payments platforms (e.g., Temenos, Finacle, FIS).
