Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets and sectors.
• Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitors, and customer needs.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals in coordination with the engineering and operations teams.
• Collaborate with internal departments (engineering, production, finance) to ensure client requirements are fully met.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to achieve profitable outcomes.
• Provide pre‑sales technical support and participate in client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
• Monitor project execution to ensure customer satisfaction and identify potential upselling opportunities.
• Report regularly on business development performance, pipeline, and forecasts.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).
• Experience:
  
  15 years of experience; at least 5 years of experience as a Regional Business Developer in Saudi Arabia.
• Saudi Arabia Experience.
• Consultancy Experience preferred.

• Strong understanding of engineering principles relevant to company products or services.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and capable of working independently.
• Languages:
  
  Very good to fluent in English (written and spoken);
  Arabic is an asset.
