Sales Specialists & Consultants are product, services, software or solution specialists that are responsible for leading pursuit in their assigned focus areas. They collaborate with and support Account Managers and provide specialist expertise within the sales team. They drive proactive campaigns to build the pipeline, use specialized knowledge and skills to prospect, qualify, negotiate and close opportunities. They may have named accounts allocated, cover a designated geography, or may be allocated to one high‑potential, competitive attack account.

The Greenlake Sales Specialist is responsible for selling our Greenlake Flex solutions across the full HPE technology portfolio to an assigned set of clients. The position requires a solid understanding of the As A Service market, clear knowledge of the competitive cloud offerings and how customers leverage consumption services and a technology stack to create clear competitive advantage. Knowledge of market creation activities along with customer development to grow existing market share is also required.
The Greenlake Sales Specialist develops consultative customer proposals, tailoring strategy and solutions to meet the needs of the customer. They understand the customer’s business challenges / objectives to provide value added services and solutions. In some instances these specialists may also be responsible for managed services deals that fit the HPE strategy and capability.
- Responsible for creating and driving their sales pipeline. Capture leads outside of specialization and use closed‑loop lead management to ensure assignment and follow‑up by others.
