Avnzor is a fast-growing e-commerce platform in Saudi Arabia focused on health, beauty, supplements, and lifestyle categories. We are building a high-performance commercial organization with strong margin discipline, operational control, and aggressive category expansion. The Beauty category is a core vertical for growth.
Role OverviewThe Beauty Buyer will own the Beauty category P&L and drive commercial performance across skincare, personal care, fragrance, and beauty accessories.
This is not a passive buying role.
This is a commercially driven position focused on revenue growth, margin expansion, supplier negotiations, and category scale.
You will be responsible for building a competitive assortment while protecting profitability and improving trading efficiency.
Key Responsibilities Category Ownership- Full P&L responsibility for Beauty category
- Drive revenue growth while improving gross margin
- Define category growth roadmap
- Identify and onboard new local and international brands
- Negotiate pricing, rebates, marketing contributions, and payment terms
- Improve supplier commercial terms continuously
- Build strong long-term brand partnerships
- Ensure competitive pricing versus market benchmarks
- Protect margin while driving promotional efficiency
- Structure discount strategy aligned with trading calendar
- Expand hero brands and high-performing SKUs
- Rationalize underperforming inventory
- Identify exclusivity opportunities
- Work closely with Traders on stock planning and reorders
- Align with marketing for campaign planning (Ramadan, Payday, National Day, etc.)
- Coordinate with compliance team on regulatory requirements
- Weekly performance reviews (sales, margin, stock cover, aging, discount impact)
- Drive corrective action on slow-moving or low-margin SKUs
- Revenue growth (Category level)
- Gross margin % improvement
- Supplier rebate improvement
- Inventory efficiency (stock cover & aging)
- Sell-through rate
- Promotional ROI
- 4–7 years experience in beauty buying (e-commerce or modern retail preferred)
- Strong negotiation and commercial skills
- Highly analytical and performance-oriented
- Experience managing supplier portfolios
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-accountability startup environment
- Deep understanding of beauty trends and consumer behavior in KSA
- Ownership mentality
- Strong financial discipline
- Ability to scale a category from growth stage to market leadership
- Comfortable making data-driven decisions
- Commercial instinct combined with structured thinking
