About the Role

We are seeking a creative Baker to join our culinary team in Riyadh. The Baker assists the Pastry Chef to lead, manage and organize all bakery requirements to the highest standards and in accordance with the standard operating procedures set by the Pastry Chef. They ensure proper sanitation in the outlet kitchen under their jurisdiction, maintain adequate food & beverage stocks, coordinate between departments, provide training, and carry full responsibility for operating equipment and inventory levels.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing a variety of bread, danish, and other bakery items for cooking in ovens, fryers and other pastry equipment.
  • Knowing and compiling consistently with, and training for, our standard bread, cooking methods, quality standards, and pastry kitchen rules, policies and procedures.
  • Stocking and maintaining sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period.
  • Maintaining and training a clean and sanitary workstation area including tables, shelves, fryers, cookers, burners, bakery ovens, flat‑top ranges and refrigeration equipment.
  • Following proper presentation and set‑up for all bakery dishes.
  • Handling stores and rotating all products properly.
  • Assisting in food prep assignments during off‑peak periods as needed.
  • Ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety according to HACCP rules and regulations.
  • Reporting and investigating all accidents and incidents.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of baking experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Attention to detail, especially when performing quality inspections on ingredients and products.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Creativity and artistic skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with professional kitchen equipment.
  • Understanding food safety practices and regulations.
