Patient Population:
Pediatric - O to 14 years Mixed Gender
Hours of Operation : 24 hours / 7 days per week
# of Beds : 24 Beds

• Age Specific Pediatric Physical and Psychological Assessment
• Assisting physician during procedures.
• Point of Care Testing
• Pediatric Resuscitation, Airway Management e.g. suction, oxygen administration, and oxygen saturation monitoring
• T racheostomy care
• External Ventricular Drainage Management
• Management of patients with multiple Surgical drains/tubes e.g. Urology drains
• Care of patients on Chest Tube
• Care of patient on Phototherapy
• Isolation procedure
• Pre and Post-Operative nursing care
• Wound care and VAC dressing
• Bowel Preparation
• IV insertion and fluid administration
• Parental Nutrition
• Blood and Blood Products Administration
• Formula and gavage feeding
• ECG
• Phlebotomy
• Management of Central Venous Catheters
• Continuous Epilepsy Monitoring
• PALS and Moderate Sedation certification for EMU staff.
• PCA, Epidural and Morphine infusions
• Care of patients on Cast and Traction
• Patients on Blood Exchange
• End of life care

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Current registration as a professional registered nurse.
• Eligible for registration with Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 8 (eight) years current clinical nursing experience following licensure/ registration in the country of origin, 3 (three) years of which in specific field/area and in comparable management position
