Description The Adult Oncology Infusion Center provides holistic treatment and supportive care for Oncology, Hematology, Palliative Care and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant (HSCT) patients.
The Adult Medical Oncology section is divided into the following programs:
Breast Cancer, Lymphoma, Sarcoma, Head and Neck, Lung, GI/ GU and Gynecology.
The Adult Hematology/HSCT section comprises of Hematology, Leukemia and HSCT patients.
No. of Beds:
83 treatment beds including 3 procedure rooms divided into 7 zones.
Currently operational: 70 Treatment beds and 2 procedure rooms.
1 procedure room occupied by Oncology Drop in Service under the management of Oncology Clinics.

• Administration of antineoplastic agents
• Administration of intravenous antibiotics, antifungals, antivirals, steroids and chelating agents
• Administration of supportive medications
• Blood and blood product transfusions
• Donor Lymphocyte Infusion (DLI)
• Bone marrow aspiration
• Care of unscheduled emergencies via the outpatient clinics
• Central venous access dressings
• Immunoglobulin transfusions
• Intravenous hydration and electrolyte replacement therapy
• Lumbar punctures +/- intrathecal chemotherapy
• Pain management
• Pentamidine nebulization
