PRIMARY PATIENT DIAGNOSES:

• Respiratory Disorders including Pulmonary Emboli COPD
• Asthma
• Bronchieactesis
• Pneumonia
• Aspiration Pneumonia
• Bronchitis
• Emphysema
• Pulmonary fibrosis

NURSING PROCEDURES:

• Tracheostomy Care
• Suctioning
• I.V. Infusions including Cannulation
• Oxygen Therapy
• Chest Tube Management
• Nasogastric and PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy) care
• Urinary Catheterization
• Diagnostic, Interventional Radiology and Nuclear Medicine
• Pre / Post Bronchoscopic Procedures, NGT insertion
• Pleural Tapping
• Insertion of CVP lines, Administration of Blood and Blood products
• Patient Controlled Analgesia
• BIPP Pap machine
• Phlebotomy
• Patient and Family Education

Within the mission, vision and values of the hospital and the Division of Nursing Services, provide total nursing care for assigned patients and assumes a leadership role when required. Rotates day and night shift to meet patient care requirements.
