Manufacturing Plant Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the Saudi Arabia Global Supply Chain Plant, including industrialization, manufacturing, supply chain, facility, methods, and health and safety.
• Apply and manage standardized manufacturing/production methods.
• Strong involvement in continuous improvement.
• Responsible for the performance of the manufacturing sector through hierarchical animation of teams.
• Align resources with needs within short- & medium-term horizon, elaborate training plans where necessary for successful execution of standardized work, lead short interval management at sector level, formulate and/or elevate issues as needed.
• Enforce compliance with HSE and 5S rules throughout the sector, including reporting and managing incidents and near misses.
• Enforce compliance with quality system and proper application of defined processes and procedures to meet the required quality level.
• As manager, be the legal responsible in case of accident.
• Participate in load/resource balance with the manufacturing manager.
• Ensure achievement of production schedules in accordance with cost, quality, lead time objectives.
• Lead SIM loop 2 with appropriate indicators & action plan and ensure compliance with SPS of SIM 1.
• Adjust manufacturing programs according to customer priorities in ad-hoc systems (LDS, DISS, IQ, …).
• Organize training needs of teams and manage versatility in accordance with defined target.
• Spend 30-50% of time on shop floor, depending on number of digital tools available (safety walkby, tracking, barriers removal, etc).
• Contribute to industrial processes improvement with functions supports.
• Participate in investment proposals, transverse projects & action plan at plant level.

• Electrical engineer with 10+ years experience in manufacturing or supply chain.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Leadership experience.
