Aruba Resident Engineer

Job Description

Acts as an extended member of customer team to support the account on daily basis. Holds a well-tuned background in pure networking – AOS 8, AOS 10, Aruba Central, Air Wave and Clear Pass. Candidate should also have prior experience with consulting and experience with products in the Aruba portfolio.

• Be physically present on-site for this role.
• Act as an extended member of the team who will be an HPE expert to support customer on a daily basis in order to be successful.
• Considered as a subject matter expert to ensure the customer’s infrastructure is up to date.
• Perform routine checks on the network to ensure it is up to standards.
• Support customer in migrations and integrations.
• Be able to update and modify documentation and processes.
• Work with customer support teams to resolve cases effectively and efficiently.
• Identify potential issues and monitor/update the tasks.
• Collaborate closely with key stakeholders on ongoing projects and work towards execution across all phases of the project lifecycle.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or related field of study.
• MBA or advanced degree in computer science or engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of work experience in a related field.

• Wireless experience: site surveys, wireless design.
• Strong knowledge of HPE Aruba product portfolio including Switching, Routing, AOS8 & AOS
  10, Wireless APs and IAPs, Controllers, SD-WAN, User Experience Insight, Aruba Air Wave, Aruba Clear Pass and extensions, Aruba Central, Aruba Meridian.
• Well-tuned background in LAN / WAN / WLAN networking.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and consulting experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-vendor environment with quick turnaround times.
