Learning & Development Manager (Hotels) Saudi Arabia National Talent

We’re looking for a Saudi National to join our regional Learning & Development team as a Manager for Hotel Learning and help design and drive the future of performance and leadership excellence across our hotels.

What you’ll do:

As Manager, Hotel Learning, you will drive, support and manage performance‑enhancing learning programs for our Brands, Hotel Operations, and Leadership Development. You’ll integrate global best practices, collaborate with regional partners, and serve as subject matter expert across critical learning initiatives.

You will play a significant role in shaping learning experiences across multiple regions, supporting our strategic vision for world‑class hospitality and colleague capability. You will also play a key part in driving and support our newly landed Saudi talent development programme, Masarona by IHG. The program is designed to nurture Saudi hospitality leaders and taps into Saudi Arabia’s rich pool of talent, highlighting progressive career paths and showcasing opportunities for local talent to thrive within the hospitality sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate innovative training materials using established learning methodologies, including workshops, e‑learning, virtual sessions, mobile learning, gamification, and video.
  • Identify new opportunities and methods for delivering impactful learning.
  • Recommend training approaches, design strategies, delivery models, and evaluation methods.
  • Support rollout of global/regional documentation and performance‑enhancing tools that integrate systems and product knowledge.
  • Support our ambitious growth plans with NHOP (New Hotel Openings), by delivering on site or virtual sessions for respective company, brand and leadership components.
  • Partner with third‑party vendors on training program development, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
  • Gather and embed best practices from across regions into training materials.
  • Work closely with global and regional learning teams to conduct needs analyses and refine content.
  • Train key stakeholders and certify regional trainers through Train‑the‑Trainer programs.
  • Support deployment of global learning initiatives, helping regions adapt and implement programs effectively.
  • Act as subject matter expert for content, initiatives, and operational learning requirements.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to resolve hotel‑level learning and training queries.
  • Monitor and reconciliate relevant budget lines, ensuring accurate financial tracking.
  • Work together with hotel learning leaders, HR business partners and hotel leadership in driving key learning initiatives and deliverables.

What you’ll bring:

  • A degree or qualification in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, and ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong project management experience overseeing initiatives from concept to deployment.
  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, and presentation.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and creative problem‑solving skills.
  • Solid understanding of instructional design and adult learning principles.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations preferred.
  • Language skills would be advantageous.
