- responsible for supporting and driving the growth and profitability of the company’s remittance business domain. this role focuses on ensuring the successful execution of strategies to achieve topline revenues, bottom-line profitability, and margin targets as per the budget. The Growth Manager plays a critical role in identifying growth opportunities, analyzing market trends, and implementing initiatives that expand the company’s footprint within the remittance sector.
- This leadership position requires a strategic and results-driven mindset to oversee and optimize financial performance while fostering collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders. The Growth Manager will also work closely with various departments, including Finance, Product Marketing, Operations, and external partners, to drive the effective execution of growth initiatives. Success in this role demands excellent analytical skills, exceptional leadership abilities, and the capacity to align cross-functional efforts to achieve business objectives.
Accountabilities Description Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement growth strategies to drive the expansion and market penetration of the remittance business.
- Support the vertical and horizontal growth of the remittance domain by identifying opportunities aligned with organizational objectives.
- Manage the P&L for the remittance product line, ensuring financial targets are met and budgets are adhered to.
- Identify and analyze new business opportunities, emerging market trends, and competitor strategies to inform decision‑making.
- Provide comprehensive updates and performance reports to the Chief Product and Growth Officer, highlighting progress and key achievements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Finance, Product Marketing, Brand Marketing, Strategy and Business Development, Commercial & Insights, Branches, Retail, Operations, Treasury, and Product teams, to execute growth initiatives effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, vendors, and financial institutions to enhance remittance offerings and strengthen the market position.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and high performance, encouraging open communication and teamwork across all departments.
- Conduct in-depth analyses of the remittance market, focusing on customer preferences, emerging trends, and competitive dynamics.
- Develop actionable business strategies that align with organizational goals and adapt to evolving market demands.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track success and identify areas for improvement.
- Oversee the development and ongoing enhancement of remittance products to ensure alignment with customer needs and market demands.
- Collaborate with the product team to ensure the successful launch, implementation, and management of remittance products.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies across all remittance offerings.
- Assist in the preparation and management of budgets for the remittance business, ensuring cost‑effectiveness and efficient allocation of resources.
- Monitor financial performance, address risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective measures as needed.
- Provide detailed financial reports and updates to senior management to ensure transparency and alignment with financial goals.
- Lead and mentor a team of professionals to execute growth initiatives and achieve departmental targets.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and creativity within the team.
- Conduct regular feedback sessions and performance reviews to support team members' professional development and career growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- 6-10 years of experience in a growth management or related leadership role.
- Proven track record of driving business growth and achieving financial targets in remittance, consumer wallet, business wallet, and merchant acquiring domains.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and budgeting.
